Gammy, If 46ºF is the coldest it has been or will get, then you can safely take it outside. If it has any new leaves, be sure to slowly expose it to the sun or it can scorch the leaves. Are you in danger of getting any late freezes? Insecticides whether organic or not should take care of the white flies. I like neem oil because it is considered organic and the pests don't develop a resistance to it. You do have to use it at a time of day that other beneficial insects aren't around because it till kill them also.

Thanks bettydee...I guess I keep it in this week yet as 30's have been forecasted. Every year I've been hear we have a 1 day freeze (been here 6) that kills my daffodils and they are blooming now so I guess this is the week for the kill. I want to save this one badly...it is the only named one I have...I overwatered and killed 2 last fall when I brought them in. This one is New Or Lady and she had 2 absolutely gorgeous blooms last fall. I'd like to see her full this spring . Ill just daily wash her leaves till I can get her out as I have emphazyma and don't spray in the house or like smelly things.. We'll see what happens. Thanks again for the temp recommendatiom.
Helen
