Does anyone have a recipe for a homemade brug fertilizer or a link to a thread? I seem to recall a thread with a list of them, but can't seem to locate it...

I have a question--I mixed up a LARGE batch of recipe in late August 2009 and have alot left. Would it be still viable??? It did get subjected to some freezing temps during the winter. How long does the "recipe" stay viable.

Cuechik--good to see you on this forum!!!

Thanks Linda! The Brug you gave me is one of two that survived the winter and doing well

Can anyone answer my question?? I want to start fertilizing the brugs that are starting to return from the roots with a weak solution of the recipe, but do not want to use it if it is not viable or will harm the brugs that were so damaged by winter freezes. Please help!!???

Thank you

Linda, I would get rid of it. By now anything that can oxidize, has. Who know what chemical composition is present now. The recipe is meant to be use as a foliar spray. Since the top growth probably isn't all that large, I think a pour on fertilizer that gets to the larger rootball would br more effective.

Thank you Bettydee! I lost so many brugs this winter, I am just trying to give the survivors the best!!! Of course the plants I paid the most for and were the ones that had not bloomed yet were the first to go. I will slowly start replacing thos

Thanl you again!

Linda
