Pretty neat find, Sonia! I thought you said no more plants right now LOL!!! Addiction is in the air :) I remember another site discussing this on variable blooms and one of the A.V.s they were talking about was Ness Fantasy Gold. The colors in the blooms looked different due to light, temperature and fertilizer...your basic growing conditions. It could also be genetics. They also said the first blooms on an A.V. may or may not bloom true the first time but should after the second to third time.

Anxious to see it on the second round :) Thanks for sharing another beauty!

Very pretty. One with two colors must be rare.

Longboat Key, FL(Zone 9b)

One with two colors did not bloom true to the Mother, therefore would not be accepted to be registered by the AVSA. It reverted back to it's original genes, The purple. Beautiful though....

Oh, my gracious Sonia LOL!! You are going to have to break down and "suck up" to hubby so he will say yes to a plant stand and lights (grin). You have me so confused...all are pretty and that bottom one sure looks like my NOID that you wanted leaves of not long ago :)

LOL.... Sonia your AVs are gorgeous.. I've been in search for some in my area but haven't been able to find any (strange since most box stores carry them). It seems they've all been replaced by Orchids (LOVE them too but am not looking for them right now!! LOL) Anyway, you keep posting your addiction to buying them and we're going to have to start an A.A. Group. (African violets Anonymous)

Your finds are gorgeous and I think I'm jealous..lol

LOL.....Don't you all forget to join the Gessaholics group too!! We have even discussed a 12 step program...but we don't think it will help our addiction.^_^
