Now that I have participated in one I think I would like to try my hand at organising a Round Robin.
Who would be interested in a Canadian version? I'll start with ten packets of Perennial seeds and a sample of my mothers homeade, funky, seed envelopes. I hope none of my American friends feel slighted by me limiting this to the north side of the border. I do this for two reasons; One to move it a bit quicker so we can start and finish well before the Christmas season starts and Two; I'm just plain ol afraid that the new legislations along with the increased border/mail security will hinder if not stop the package from getting to everyone on the list.
Email me with your particulars if you are interested.
Canadian Round Robin
Hello I would be interested.
Mary
Great Mary!
Email me your mailing address etc and I will map out the route by weeks end.
Have had a few (4) interested gardeners express interest so far. Come on Canadians, would be much more fun with more participants.
Last call for the R&R north of the 49th parallel (Canadian)will be Monday at midnight.
Tuesday, after I have digested my Thanksgiving dinner I will email out the route and instructions to all involved.
So far we have a route going from Nova Scotia to British Columbia! You can't cover much more of our fair land than that :)
you can add me..just explain how it works..thanks. email me directly..thanks.
I'm in. Email me at nancy5@sympatico.ca
Ok neighbours, the route has been drawn and the parcel has been packed. I have sent everyone an email,.. please if you didn't get it or your name is not on this list but should be, email me.
This is the route the package will travel.
1. Mary L. Merigomish N.S.
2. Dianne C. Sioux Lookout Ont.
3. Nancy D. Oshawa Ont.
4. Joyce B. Hamilton Ont.
5. Brenda H. Salford Ont.
6. Jeanne R. Campbell River B.C.
7. Theresa P. Kitchener Ont.
The package has safely arrived in Nova Scotia.
The Souix is next :)
The package has arrived at the Souix and is on it's way to Nancy in Oshawa next.
Our package seems to have fallen off the beaten track somewhere between Sioux Lookout and Oshawa. Please be patient, I hear that they turn up all on their own quite often a few weeks down the road.
I'll keep everyone posted.
Sorry I missed this post when it started.
Joyce in Hamilton, the package has been found and is on it's way to you.
Could whoever has or has had the package last please post an update....
I've just gotten word that Brenda in Salford Ont. has received the package and is sending it on Monday to
Jeanne in Campbell River B.C.
The package has returned home.
I would like to thank everyone who participated and although most of you are no longer members of Dave's, I hope that we can do it again at some point with a new group of friends.
Theresa
