This photo was taken at El Cariso golf course in Sylmar, California. I can't find it in any of my bird books. Do you know what it is?

Male and Female Mandarin Ducks. They are cousins of the American Wood Duck ;o) They probably escaped from somewhere or are farm ducks that roam during the day and return "home" in the evening. Nice shot!
