Missing one transplanted Canadian!!! Last seen in Iowa chasing after lambs. Has not reported for duty. And most importantly has not posted pictures of new baby animals for us to gush and gu-goo over.
Please report any sightings!!!!
Calling out the search party!!1
awww baby goats are so adorable.
AWW!! GOO-GOO BABIES!!!!
Awww! So tiny and cute. Yes we'd been deprived of late.
LOL
I have mammal envy.
I have been watching your blog so I know you had new babies!!! Love them and the happy smile on your face.
Awww are they ever cute!
That nanny sure is pretty. Nice kids too. What breed are they?
Cajun - she's a mini-Nubian nanny, and the kids are the offspring of her with our full angora buck, so they are 1/2 angora, 1/4 Nubian, 1/4 ??? (we don't know what the mini-Nubian's other half is but most likely pygmy or something related because she's quite small).
As I've learned recently, the genetics for white in angora goats are dominant even in crosses, so we expect all of his kids to be white, even the ones who are due soon from a nearly totally black pygmy goat. But, they carry coloured genetics and might produce offspring with colour if bred to a non-white angora in future.
She should give lots of milk.
