I purchases some potted daffs at WM. They are in sort of a potting soil fluffy stuff. It says on the pot to plant them as is without shaking off the soil and just o put them at the same level depth wise.
I think that potting soil stuff doesn't look well you know, like dirt lol
Should I shake them off and plant them in the ground, mix the pot soil w my dirt and plant, or plant them as is?
how do I Plant potted daffs?
I'd give them a good watering and plant as is to avoid disturbing the roots. The roots will soon find their way into the surrounding soil.
Ok great, thanks!
I would plant them as is also. I bet the potting soil mixes with the soil next year anyway by the earthworms. At Least thats what happena around here.
I planted them today, and I just dug a hole and set the whole thing in as is, (without the pot of course!)
So we shall see what happens next year!
You should have daffodils coming up and blooming next year.
