Peek-a-boo!

I see you, hardy hibiscus, just shooting up out of the ground like mad ... in such a hurry to grow and please all who see you with your blooms!

Here's what she looked like last year.

And my scarlet mallow/texas star is making a repeat show again as well. I'd left it in the pot, in a tub of water in my GH over winter, and pulled it out a week ago. Much to my surprise it had about 6 stalks growing already!

Any other hardy hib owners seeing signs of life in their babies?

And one of the tropical hibs I picked up at HD a week or so ago ... she's purty! They called her "Starry Wind".

And last but not least, "Tye-Dyed Wind".

Oh your so lucky.. I wish i had mine startting.. Pretty sure however my texas stars are all dead.. Pulled a few out to check the roots and its all mushy so.. My hardies will be back but not till at least june.. And the tropicals i had well those are pretty dead too.. :( These stunning flowers just hate me lol
