Or is this new bird to my feeder?

Or is this the male version of the visitor(s)? I haven't seen my female Baltimore Oriole at the feeder the last 4 days. I figured she went North. Here comes this one? We've had some heavy rain, the sky just clearing up. Thanks for your help.

Are they the same bird? The first seems to have more black on the head, suggesting an immature male Baltimore Oriole - the second seems to have more brown-gold on the head, suggesting a female or immature female. If it is the same bird, seems to be a young male molting into it's fuller black color on top. We're up north, so not sure.

MB, the above 2 pictures are that of the very same bird that I spotted briefly today by the feeder. I'll see if I can find the one that frequented here all winter long. That 'snowbird' that I was used too, looks much different than this one. I'll be right back with an old picture of her.

It's the migration season now, you can expect to have a high turnover ;-)

I'm doing the happy dance....right to the store to get nectar feeders for the lovelies! Resin, is that a male juvie? (the new comer). Thanks.

Yep, likely a first-year male . . . 9 or 10 months old now, so not really quite a juv any more!
