I didn't ID these birds last x-mas because the pictures were terrible. We were looking into the sun for most of the trail. Now that I'm actually making a life list, I don't miss any!
This first one appears to be a phoebe or flycatcher. Can you tell what kind? The reddish color on it made me wonder if it's a Say's Phoebe. I have one more photo of it after this one. This was taken in Southern California in Peter's Canyon which is near Tustin.
