5 Days old and crowing!

Lodi, CA(Zone 9b)

I have 4 Ameraucana chicks and one has been crowing for days..They hatched April 2nd.. they are in a brooder next to 9 Seramas that are 3 weeks old, so I didn't think it was that big of a deal.. although it is the cutest sound you ever heard. It woke me up at 4 am once, but I thought I was dreaming..
Then, just now, I see 2 lil black chicks standing tall, and hear it again, twice! One of them is a real manly man.. LOL
While I was listening I was scanning my brain trying to think of something that will record sound... came up blank.. but you can bet I'm gonna try to catch that!!

Can you record sound on your cell phone?

- And then use it for a ring tone?

I think that's pretty amazing. That needs to be on youtube!

My husband used to have a rooster crow for his ringtone. He got some strange looks sometimes when his phone rang. Once he was in Tractor Supply and another person had a cow mooing.

We had a little Silkie Cochin mix roo crow at a very young age. The chicks were still with the mama hen and it was crowing.

LOL I waited till someone else heard it too before I posted!!! LOL Cody heard it twice this morning! I saw 2 of them standing up so I just want to know which one it was.. it is so quick and so quiet.. I doubt I'll ever be able to catch it on tape
