And Bonnie thinks her roots run deep hey?

Does everyone remember my planting daffodils last Summer? Well, I decided to dig them up and replant them. I used coconut coir, brecks bulbs and brecks bulb food and a bit of perlite remember? Check out these roots on this one baby and these aren't the longest or thickest by a long shot. Clean too. I decided to use coconut coir again as it didn't need anything added to it.

Wow! Thanks Joy! I never thought of using it for bulbs? I still have the white 5 gal bags but I think I'm to late in season to plant besides just now I have enough to do.

TPlant: I ran out of potting mix and decided to use coir, I used it on a few bushes too. LOL Last year, dumby me used the so called special potting mix mixed with perlite for my topsys and this year after seeing how badly they dried out, decided to go with a coir/vermulite, bet they stay moist this time. I'm doing some experimenting this time round again with a variety of things to see what happens. I love the 1 gallon grow bags also, they are much lighter in comparison to pots and easier to transplant up to the containers you will be using, you just cut them down the sides and no root shock or damage whatsoever. And as far as watering, well, it's all from the bottom, as I use the 1020 trays to water them.
