Ok, I think I made a mistake with some of my buckets and in the directions I typed up to hand out to the people in my church. I had used 3 cups of 10-10-10 in my buckets, isn't that a tad too much? Shouldn't I use 1 1/2 cups or 2 cups at the most?

That sure sounds like too much to me. I use about 1 to 1 1/4 cup in mine. Are yours the double bucket ( a full 5 gallons of potting mix) or the single bucket setups? If it's the latter with only about 3 1/2 gallons of mix, then I'd use no more than 1 cup.

I do single buckets and still use 2 cups-dolomite lime, and 2 cups Triple 13 fert...
Also, gonna start adding 2 tbsps. Epsom salts to the top 4-6" of potting mix for the 'maters.
2 Tbsps. Bloodmeal (Nitrogen) to the top 4-6" of potting mix for the leafy, cole crop veggies....

Has anyone heard of Organic Mechanics potting soil or mix? Garden girl is saying that is the one to buy.But it seems it is only being sold NY,Pa,Md,Oh. One or 2 other states. Looked on their website and it gives all the addresses selling it. Thanks.
