Sometimes I recognize a bird as having seen it before myself, but I don't know what bird it is and it's great to learn the identity and be able to read about them! Dana: Aren't they the prettiest little "rainbows"? I saw more Painted Buntings this winter than ever before but it's been a few weeks now since they've visited the feeders in my backyard.
