A kind neighbor....

around the corner came over with a big bag of daffodils that she'd dug up from her back yard. She didn't even know what they were! But since I'm the neighborhood gardener, she brought them to me! Bonus! She gets the first blueberries from the bushes this year if the dog doesn't get them first.
Anyone else have nice neighbors like this?

Oh yeah! Our neighbors here in Florida are so kind and really keep an eye on things around our house and in our yard while we are away. In NH, we also have great neighbors, but they don't live close to us given the size of the farms on the road. That was such a nice surprise for you, so that tells me you are also a good neighbor to everyone as well!

that was very nice of them!!... and yes I would say my next door neighbor is like family.. and someone left white bleeding heart seedlings by my front door last year... still don't know who they were from

not here i am the one to give my neighbors lots of stuff - have more for them now - short story - a few years back i gave them some kerria and last weekend i was over talking to them and saw the bush - i think it is better than mine!!
this year its only been bes and some echi's - although the echi's had a disclaimer - if one turns out to be razzmatazz it comes back home:) i let my patch of several varaties go to seed one year and many went to seed and was trying to clear out the volunteers (most are just purple echi's white one white) pretty sure i did not give away the real thing.

We have wonderful neighbors here. The day we were moving in both sides came over with veggies from their gardens.

before the other neighbor was divorced & the wife now left... she gave me an AV in a pretty container... recipe cards she wrote up... and a list of all the phone numbers they have.. SHE was very nice
