I recently bought these three episcias and they were unlabled. Does anyone know which ones they are?
Episcia IDs
Hey begoniadude!
The first one looks like Chocolate Cream and I thought the third one was Silver Sheen until I pulled it up and saw pink blooms instead of orange/red. These are getting harder to identify like A.V.s because there are so many with very similar characters. My Chocolate Cream and Longwood Gardens look so much like each other that I have to label them when I start stolons. I can tell you that you picked some healthy and pretty plants.

This might help.

Does anyone know if these can be propogated by leaves. Just curious. I have had some success with stolons.
The leaves will root but they take a while. It is much faster to root stolons.
hello begoniadude,i have been reading this thread, but never posted, the espricias look very nice, they remind me of the ones i had and look like it to(chocalate solder)you have some very nice ones.
here is a pic of a little trailor that i picked up almost 2 yrs ago.it just now bloomed.you can't see it very well from the position i took it and my camera is off .
Here is the second one.
Hello begoniadude and welcome to DG :)
For your Episcias I think that #1 could be any of the following:
- Country Plush
- Dixie Dynamite *
- Gold Digger
- Jim's Red Trail
- Kee Wee *
- Kristina K
- Pink Ric Rac
The 2 with * denote which ones I think are the most likely to match your little beauty :)
I#2 I believe is possibly Bronze Queen
If #3 has purple underside I think that one could possibly be 'Fire Ember' , 'Karlyn' or 'Mont Royal'
