On Cape Cod: The closest we can get in identifying this beauty is Tufted Titmouse, though we saw no tuft, and the breast is more orange than we've ever seen. We have one more photo we'll post on the thread. Any ideas?
CLOSED: Need ID Help
A female bluebird, for me. Most likely Eastern, though I am wondering if it could possibly be a Mountain Bluebird, seems to show some evidence of that, e.g. the small bill, and the diffuse border between the orangey breast and paler belly. Mountain Bluebird is listed as a rare visitor on the east coast, so it isn't totally impossible. Worth trying to get some other people to try and see it and perhaps get closer pics.

Gee, I was searching photo's earlier to try to find a match for that cutie and never would have thought about a Bluebird!

Thanks for these! It seems a toss-up between female and transitioning immature male. We'll watch the critter and see how it goes.
