Zone 8 Woodland Plants

I have an area of my garden that only gets 2 hours of morning sun and is constantly covered in oak leaf litter. I'm looking for perennial woodland plants that would be suitable for an area like this. I already have Bleeding Heart, Dicentra and Violets, Viola.

Looking for the following types plants and am open to suggestions:

Jack in the Pulpit Arisaema
Trilliam Trillium
Lady Fern Athyrium
Ghost Fern Athyrium
Lentin Rose, Helleborus

Please check my trade list:

If interested in trading, please d-mail me with Woodland Plants in the subject line. Otherwise your d-mail may be overlooked since I've got bunches of trades going on now.

Would you be interested in Mayapple rootlets in trade for the 'Rainbow's end' climbing mini rose?

Summerville, SC(Zone 8a)

Do you know what species of Podophyllum it is? Or can you post a picture of the flowers and leaves?

I got them from Loess_Roots last year. They are just now breaking ground. So I don't know anything about them. The tag just said Mayapple. Sorry

Summerville, SC(Zone 8a)

I guess you don't have the tag .. did the tag by any chance show a flower on it? and if it did, what color was it?

Somerset, KY(Zone 6b)

No! The tag was just a piece of tape that said Mayapple.
I'll just have to wait until they bloom and than I'll post pictures. I got Mayapple, Bloodroot and Black Cohosh from him. So now I just have to keep them damp and wait for blooms. They are all starting to sprout now.

Melfa, VA(Zone 8a)

I would expect they are the common mayapple with the white blooms.
I don't plan on doing a lot of trading this year as we have begun to actually start moving things gradually to our new house. I mostly had woodland perennials and still have some left that I just don't have room for.

Mulberry, FL
