I need some help with my roses mainly...I have plants other than roses (no one who has been here, laugh) I don't have the money to hire someone to help but I do have plants to trade for help...and I am willing to pay the gas for anyone willing to help me. I have become good at propagating things and if I have the plant and you want me to root you one or two, I can do that.
I am in Denton...can someone please help me? My knees have gotten bad and I fall a lot...(which is very scary) so I am just not able to do much anymore.
Help me and I will forgive you all for missing my birthday yesterday, other wise I will hold a grudge lol!

Hello Melva, we didn't miss your birthday, the greeting is here;

I don't know if you remember but some of our Texas members didn't like seeing the birthdays on the Texas forum, too distracting, they said, so now we have to just put it on the birthday forum with a link on it to the Texas forum.
I am sorry you missed it.
Josephine.
Wow. wish it weren't so far away..
I need help learning how to keep roses...
shucks. good luck finding slave labor! Ooop! :) I mean good help!!
I checked the map to see how close you are to me and buggers... youre about 4 hrs away..so I cant help you.. Ive knee issues too but Id be willing to try to help if I was closer.
. couple of suggestions .. call your county Master gardeners group and see if any of the trainees need volunteer hrs.. this kind of thing, helping and educating, is what gives them the hrs to complete the class.. you wouldnt have to pay them if theyd do it.. I know in my county we can do stuff like this to get our hours in..
if youre having problems with your knees, getting up and down, or standing for long periods of time, invest in a garden kneeler from someplace like Lowes or HD.. best 18.00 Ive ever spent.. makes getting up and down so much easier.. lots of times unless I have something to pull my self up with I cant get up.. this will help..it folds flat for storage and you can flip it over for a seat so you can sit and work..
good luck
Thanks for the ideas..I will give them a call. I have a garden kneeler but I was without it that day...I try to keep it with me..I have 2 of them so one is always near by (at least that is the plan) but sometimes plans don't work ....
