My parents live in Grayson County Texas in a semi-rural area with lots of trees. For the past couple of years they have had baby birds on their front porch. They aren't very familiar with birds, so they weren't able to give me an ID on the parents, and I am new to IDing babies, so I thought I'd see if ya'll could help me ID them. These photos are from last year and they aren't that great. My guess would be some sort of swallow by their appearance, but I could be way off.
CLOSED: baby bird id
They look Phoebe like to me, but I'm not sure.
jec6, I looked up some pics of the Eastern Phoebe and its' nest does look right. You are probably right. Thanks for your help.
Thanks, Plantladylin. We'll go with Eastern Phoebe.
