Hi Guys, Hope your all doing well.
I thought I'd tell you all what has happened now. The last 2 1/2 days I've been in the hospital. I broke my hip (the neck of the femur) and had to have 3 long pins put into hip. I really can't get around well at all so I won't be online much. Mrs Ed will be taking care of contacting people for the Daily Pic thread till I can come back. I'll try to get on for a short time tomorrow but right now I have to get to bed.
Thanks for all your kind words in the other thread. Special thanks to Margaret and others for the phone calls.
Okay I'm Back...Sorta
Tough luck pelle Best wishes for a speedy recovery, although I know it takes time. So fast as possible.
Yes relax and heal up. See you soon!
Thanks guys! I think recovery time is 6 - 8 weeks if everything goes well. So fingers crossed. :-)
I, too, wish you a fast recovery. And thanks for what you do here.
Good morning, pelle. I'm thinking of you and wish you a speedy recovery. Hopefully, the arrival of Spring will hasten the process. In the meantime, an occasional trip to places like Brigantine, where you can shoot out the car window, will surely brighten your days. And, of course, your backyard feathered friends will always be there to welcome you out on the porch. Take care.
So glad all went well and best wishes for a speedy recovery!! You are certainly missed when you aren't here. I hope you have a chair and tripod set up on the porch so you can get lots of pics to share with us. Be Well and enjoy the spring migration!!
Ouch! We'll be hoping for that spring weather to get you motivated on moving when you feel up to it.
Good gracious pelle, I hope you heal up fast.
Take care,
Hack
So sorry to hear about your accident. So glad your surgery went well. I wish you the speediest recovery possible. Many of my "go to " favorites are your contributions; migrations, nest observations etc.. Each time I look at them , I thank you. Be sure to work closely with your physical therapist. :)
Thank you very much guys!! ((HUGS))
