Does the green clumping, can you dig up small pieces of it? to save on shipping charges? I have some green bamboo that is suppose to get that big around but it's been 4 years since I planted it and it 's still yet to show it's true colors LOL still only an inch or so around. I've seen that stuff that sends up the huge shoots, love that stuff.

i'd love to trade when my bulbs start showing themselves.

This will work this bamboo was dumped on a friends property i watched it for 3 years it clumped not run and it was big it rooted right under power lines they came on the property in 2 yrs and really wacked it tough stuff it was out side during the cold here and it was in the 20's here for quite a while killed alot of my plants I have starts in pots have not made up my mind were I'm going to put it have 6 different ones here. Some are already in the ground not that one. What you have is it in the ground it usally takes at least a year for this to get up to speed 4 years something really wrong If you had it in a pot I could see very small pot but this works for me when you find them let me know.

20s? oh gosh, it gets much colder than that here, sometimes in single digets, I wonder if it would make it here or not. there's alot of non hardy bamboos out there.

20's didn't bother it I figure its good to go.

All of my amorphophallus bulbs are still dormant (haven't sprouted yet) i expect them to shoot up any time now. When they do, I will see how many I have to spare and would love to trade for some of that beautiful pink Siam Tulip Ginger. (A type of curcuma I am guessing?)

Yes, that picture is a beautiful plant! I have a pot with about 50 small A. Paeoniifolius bulbs in it but they haven't come out of dormancy yet. I Leave a bunch in there to produce lots of babies then at the end of the season I just take out the biggest bulbs and put them in separate pots. When they come up, I will get a few and we can trade if you want (I have 5-10 orange sized bulbs that should be nice plants). I work in Mulberry so no need to ship either! I will let you know when they come up.

Dan sounds good to me just got back from the Post Office sending out some plumeria. How did you plumeria fare the cold I lost some big plants had them wrapped and still lost them had 2 green houses full but still hurts to lose 6-8 ft plants

I had 2 planted in the ground that I am not sure about (one looks pretty bad but it is a common yellow one fairly small, the other was a beautiful red hawaiian plant that smelled amazing I am hoping comes back). I have a few very small plants in the greenhouse and they did fine.

Cut the bad off longer you leave it on there more its going to rot proably going to have to come back from the roots
