So far I have had House Finches and American Gold Finches (are they the same thing? I had a red one and a yellow one)

Is this guy in the same family? He is more brown than black.

Ok ... I am not crazy... Here is the correct picture...

I posted the picture before, but realized that I got 2 different answers, and wanted to clarify. Sorry for all the crazy posts, my photo program decided to rename all of my pictures numbers and they are all out of sync with their thumbnails.
