I'm thinking of keeping the shepherd's hook that holds my hummingbird feeder and then making a homemade pyramid shaped trellis around it. I'd use about 4 bamboo rods and have them peak together around where the black pole begins to curve outward. Then I want to train some sweet peas up them to fill out that area just a bit more. My question is, would that look weird/tacky/clashy etc. or would it look good with vines climbing up? So:
