I was given some rose mallow seeds a couple of years ago and decided to see if they were still viable.. lo and behold I have 4 little seedlings coming up.. Im so proud of myself even though I had nothing to do with them sprouting..lol.. now I checked out plant files but nothing has been said as to how soon they will bloom, first year or second year or what? I dont know what kind it is either.. can anyone give me more info on it I know thet they get large and I have room for them but any other advice would be appreciated
rose mallow info
You didn't mention which rosemallow seed you have. There are annual types and perennial types. The annual type will bloom the same year. Park Seeds boasts of a rosemallow that blooms from seed the first year. That implies that most perennial rosemallow won't bloom until the second year.
