I really like begonias and have some bulbs that I use each year in hanging baskets. Are their any species that do well as year round house plants or do they all need a period of dormancy?

There are lots of species begonias that do great year round. Tuberous are the ones that require a period of dormancy. Almost all other types grow year round with a small rest period but must still have light and water.
