I am using "Gardening and Planting by the Moon 2010: Higher Yields in Vegetables and Flowers" as I start my first veggie garden in 20 years. We just moved from the subburbs to the country.
I planted my tomatoes and peppers (both "fruits") on the 9th. They are 75% sprouted as of yesterday! And the first to sprout were a white tomatoe - white...like the moon :-)
According to author good days to plant veggies that fruit are March 9, 18 & 28. Actually its a range of +/- 1.5 days around those dates.
It also says to stay our of the garden March 24.
Happy gardening!

Quote from Molamola :
March 24 Moon is in Cancer, a fruitful water sign. Wonder why he said that, other than Sun parallel Uranus, a feeling of radical rebeliousness.
edit, what's the name of the astrologer?

Nick Kollerstrom is the author. He uses Sidereal Zodiac, not Tropical. Sidereal is offset from tropical by 24 degrees 30 minutes. So are 3/24, Moon is in Gemini, not Cancer it goes into Cancer midday on the 25th. I can't explain any further...I am just quoting the book. I am not an astrologer. I had to go with something and I like his approach, studies and calendar.
Happy Spring!
