I attended the Dinasaur re union ( men who started working for CALFIRE in the early fifties) at Los Banos ,Ca. While there I went to the Merced NWR which is nearby. I spent one day there and saw twenty four species of birds, nineteen I'm posting here, starting with the Yellow-billed Magpie.
Merced again
What a great assortment of birds!!
Wow, what a time you must have had taking all these photos. I enjoyed seeing all of them. Love the Magpies and the Snowys. Love the colors of the Ibis.
I sure appreciate the men and women who work Calfire. If it weren't for them, our small county would surely burn up.
Great pics adel! You had a very nice trip. I love the White-faced Ibis, Black-necked Stilt, American Avocet, Phoebe and so many others!
Thanks for sharing your pics with us! :-)
Nice collection from your trip Adel!
