I just took some pictures of the chicks hatching.The brown eggs are barred rock hens and an americana roo. some of the smaller eggs should be eather full cochin banam or silkie/cochin.This was my just for fun first clutch for the year.They are hatching on my birthday. :0)

I also candled the serama eggs and the salmon faverolls it looks like at least 1/2 of the searmas are good and almost all of the faverolls im having such a great day! i have 9 chincks hatched so far on this mix chicx bator and the other 2 bators ar cookin up some other surprises! I have some auracana eggs ready to go into the bator along with some button quail eggs.Im just waiting for my cotuex quail eggs t get here to fire up that bator!

This is a tiny little red chick i dident think would make it.When i found it it looked like its intestines were out but after i went to bed and woke back up expecting to find it dead it was up and wobbling around.still has a little bulge on umblical. so we will have to see how it does.If it lives it will be called Willow for the strength of a willow.I love the markings and color of this lil chick.
