What's up everybody? I haven't been able to get on line a whole lot lately with all the planting going on, but we had our 1st spring litter yesterday, so I thought I'd post a photo. Hey porkpal, I've been kneedeep in planting peas, beets, turnips, carrots, radishes, cabbage, spinach, broccoli, cauliflower, and two days ago the first of the sweet corn. Plus, I've been seeding transplants for the warm season vegetables, but I've got alot of that done, so hopefully I can get on here more often. DG is a great site!

MissJestr, go on and get Billy a pig. If you've got a 16'x16' spot he can raise one using the deep litter method so popular in Sweden. Add a 1/2 bale (summer) to a bale (winter) of straw per week and you'll be knee deep in pork chops 6 months from now!

Like Billy is going to let you eat his pig! I think the bedroom would be fine. Pigs are very intelligent and can be house broken like dogs.
No Notta NOPE... come on guys, its already taking time to feed and water everyone, in the morning I do it myself, Ok so I dont water, but I do feed.. At night I make him help, and the inside animals (Chicks and hamsters) I do in the am...
So I am thinking when we start getting more chicks in different places, it will take longer... Porkpal, I will send him and a pig your way...LOL Oh he comes with a Horse, Dog, chickens, geese, ducks the cat can stay here...
