Just ordered 2 Brug's

Virginia Beach, VA(Zone 7b)

This will be my first time having a Brug, although I have always admired
them. I ordered 2 Dr. Suess from Country Gardens. Kinda expensive, but
I hope to keep them going for many years by taking cutting and saving
seed. So many to chose from, but fragrance was high on my list and I
do like yellow. So hopefully I made the best choice for myself.

zinniared,

If you want to keep Dr. Seuss going year after year, be sure to take cuttings as Brugs do not come true from seed. To get seed, you will need 2 different cultivars as brugs do not self pollinate, with 1 exception.

You will love Dr. Seuss! It grows well, is healthy, blooms like crazy and has a wonderful smell.

Racheal is very pretty. I like the pinks also.

bettydee, I will definately take cuttings. If I have any problems
doing it, I know which forum to come to.
