Daily Photos Volume 297
Great shots Mrs Ed! Love that Grackle squawking !
Thanks so much for starting the new thread!!
Nice shots everyone!! Its back to 35 degree's and rain/wind here for the weekend, but it dig bring some finch's to the feeder, other than that its just been the Downy's. I,m kind of glad though as Ive been busy getting ready to buy a house and I also have a very ill uncle, and a hundred other things that have been going on...life in general. I only have the tray feeder going and will be taking the feed station down altogether soon. The house that I,m looking has a lot of potential for bird's with many mature tree's, and many wooded areas all over in the area. Most of my bird's pictures will be coming from wildlife area's until next winter.
I have a couple of shots to share....Bufflehead Duck's taking off.
Nice burd. good luck on the house.
Knip, I LOVE that cute little blackbird.
Gosh, I'm just a little late this morning and already another thread.
Wonderful photos on the last one everyone!!
Mrs. Ed, love the grackle! Thanks for the new start. Glad the robins are there for your enjoyment. Poor little p. siskin, I hope it catches up to the others soon. Feel better soon!
Nanny, Ms Cardinal is adorable just waiting for her turn.
Knip, I just love that photo of the blackbird with the orange beak! What an expression. The chaffinch is a beauty too.
Watercan, fantastic coloring in that cardinal photo.
Burd, sorry to hear you're moving. I'll miss seeing pix of Elvis. Hope your uncle recovers soon. Great pictures of the ducks and swans-wow.
Here's a Golden crowned Sparrow from the other day.
Great start to the new thread, Mrs. Ed!
Duc....love the TRES shots. Mine aren't back yet but I can enjoy yours in the interim!
Note on phoebes from the former thread--too erly to see them in MA.
Nice eng. blackbird. since they are a thrush like the Am. robin, they hop around the lawns the same way. I has a tour guide tell me that americans will ask 'why are your robins black'. Blackbirds here are a different species as is the european robin.
Great shots everyone!
Nanny, Nice Cardinal!
Mrs Ed, I like the Lesser Scaup! Feel better!
Knip, I love the Blackbirds with the yellow eye rings and that is a very handsome Chaffinch!
Burd, Nice photos. Love the Egret working on the nest!
Duc, Very nice shots. Love the Golden-crowned Sparrow and of course the Tree Swallows. Nice catch of the Turkey Vulture and that adorable Titmouse!
Good Grackle shot nanny!
Nice ones GP! Glad the eagle came closer,
Great start to the new thread!
