Our chicks are outgrowing their brooder, and we'd like to move them out to the coop (the ones with more feathers for now). Problem is, we just moved the guineas out there today, and they eat game bird starter while the chickens are eating chick starter. So - do I have to keep the food/birds separate? I understand that guineas need the higher protein food, but I wasn't sure if the chicks would do okay eating the guinea food. I don't know if a divider would work, since they're all at the point where they could fly over. Thanks!

Guinea vs. Chicken Feed Situation
I know some people do move their breeder chicks from starter to game bird crumbles before moving to layer...but I've never done it.
my week old chicks are on game bird starter. That's all the feed store sold bc its all they used. They seem to be doing fine. Growing like weeds.
