These I am 99% sure are obedient plant babies, yes?
What is This?
I suffer the same affliction ~ lol I don't recognize the foliage on the first two but the third photo sure resembles Coreopsis. Just a wild guess though... sorry.
I'm thinking #2 might be a cutleaf rudbeckia.
#1 Obedient Plant, #2 I don't know, #3 Coreopsis.
Hmmm...I don't remember planting a coreopsis back there! LOL
Thanks for the help!
Still looking for info on #2 if anyone else cares to take a guess.
#1 definitely obedient plants. I have a pasture of them this year. Sigh.
#2 I got a cutleaf rudbeckia from Lynea last year, and that's exactly what it looks like right now.
#3 dunno
My coreopsis doesn't look like your #3, but I don't know what it is either. Don't you hate it when that happens? I always struggle with "leave it and see what it is, or rip it out now while it can be pulled before needing a tractor to do it". If you find out what it is, let us know.
Crow
I think it is Plains Coreopsis, coreopsis tinctoria,

and they do look different from Lanceleaf Coreopsis, coreopsis lanceolata

Okay, Josephine. You might be correct. I did plant some plains coreopsis last year in my front yard, and there's an identical #3 out in the front where those were planted. I did not however plant any of the plains coreopsis out in the backyard. Perhaps it's a bird's planting. I think I'll let it grow and see what we get!
