Blooming today indoors

Norwalk, IA(Zone 5b)

This is one of my hybrids from a few years ago. "Blue Belle" blooming in a hallway , waiting to go outside for spring. PLEASE NOTE the bluish background is snow.I took the flower outdoors.Even though we are in a major meltdown now there is still drifts all over. We had 72 inches of snow this year. Broke many records for snow, coldest winter, etc.

It's BEAUTIFUL - nothing like a beautiful tropical to 'warm' you. I couldn't imagine that much snow - I'd be booking a ticket to a tropical place :)

Kyle, your creation looks gorgeouse, it serves as an inspiration to keep me cross pollinating to see if I can get something as beautiful as yours.

Thanks for the kind words everyone. I think even though I don't have access to the greenhouse anymore I may take up crossing kinds again this summer. I miss the surprise of new flowers.

Wonderful!
I have a few crosses going, but haven't bloomed yet. We'll see if they're as pretty as yours!
