Two new males I picked up yesterday.

Another view. I made a small temporary pen within the duck yard for them. Our dominant male is not happy that they are here. :)

What kind are they? They look very magisterial.

Shhh.... we don't want "them" to know. ;-)

Scofflaw! Hee, hee, hee.....

I need to come up with a different name for them.... how about "Veal Ducks" (they're supposed to taste like veal), or "Fly-Eating Ducks" (they are good at that), or "Pied Ducks" (since most of them have white markings)?

Or, just put it all together - "Pied Fly-Eating Veal Ducks" (!) I think I need to go to bed now....

Nah, you just need to be able to rattle off a few delicious sounding recipes for duck if the feds ask you why you have them.... Well, to eat, of course [fingers crossed].

And then when the feds come back next year, you tell them how tasty the last bunch were and that these are NEW ducks this year (like a fed can tell the difference?)
