These were rooted last summer. 3 season interest with flame colored leaves in spring and fall, with pink flowers in summer. Handle being ignored, and dry conditions. Only get about 3-4 ft tall. I have enough for a small hedge, about 30.
Would prefer plants such as bulbs, ferns, tubers of plants that can handle shade. Peonies, bleeding hearts, begonias, coleus, columbine, lilies, iris, clematis, glads, hollyhock, rose cuttings, blue mist shrub, etc., but also will take seeds from cosmos, unusual morning glory or Convolvulaceae, poppy, snapdragon.

Here is the iris. I think it is Indian Chief. It was here when we moved here 35 years ago.
Here is the White. It was at the house I grew up in and I took some with when I moved. Same with the pink one. So they are both over 45 years old.
