Icing Recipe ????

I am trying to find a 'taste a-like' recipe for Kroger's decorator's icing. It needs to be one that will set up so it can be used in decorating cakes using tips. I have taken the basic "Wilton" cake decorating class but those icing recipes are just sooo sweet ! I have had a few people asking me to make cakes with "icing like Kroger's " .

I did try to google it but basically the ones I found were the kind where you had to boil water/sugar and use a candy thermometer. I didn't want it to be that involved. (I have neuropathy in my hands and don't want to mess with a boiling pot !)

Anyone have an alternative ? Thank you for any help !
