Thanks for the birthday wishes everyone. It was a good day. This is the first weekend that it has been warm enough to go outside, so we cleaned up most of the flower gardens (only had 6 trash cans full.)We had to stop until after the city picks up the yard waste since we ran out of trash cans(.LOL)and then we can do some more. Alot of my perennials were just starting to grow under the mulch. It is so good to see a new season beginning. It was a good birthday and it marks the start of my one year count-down to retirement!! YAH Lou

We had nice weather this weekend too Lou and I was out raking the gardens today :)
Isn't it wonderful to see the daffodils start to peak their little heads up?
1 more year and you get to retire! That's AWESOME!
I have about 25 more years to go..................I'm SO envious of you! That's awesome!
Are you planning to travel when you retire?
Sounds like you had a very nice birthday :)

We will travel as much as our budget will allow.LOL We both are taking reduced SS to retire at 65 instead of 66, so we plan at least to spend more time in Texas with the grandkids . I'm looking forward to it. Lou
