I swear I posted this yesterday, but I can't find it. I apologize if it's a duplicate.
I'm redoing a the garden around one of my hummer feeder poles. It's a partially shady area and I want to include some lilies. I've been reading that Martagon Lilies (Lilium martagon), Red Velvet lilies and Karen North ( Lilium lankongense 'Karen North') are good choices. I love the turks-cap type lilies and wonder if they all attract hummers or just a few. Does anyone have recommendations?
Thanks!
Deb

Hope that helps. :-)
Thank you, Pelletory:) I'm having trouble deciding if I should plop down the money for some expensive Martagons or not. Between my zone (4) and my shade, I'm a little leary-though they should do fine from what I've read. It seems like most lilies require a bit more sun than I have to offer. . .but I do love them, so.
