This brug. blooms a double pink the first year, and triple pink blooms once it has matured. It has consistently performed the same way each year I have grown it. It has a nice fragrance and is easy to propagate by cuttings.

Patricia,
Congratulations!!! It is gorgeous! Looks like that bloom has 4 skirts. I want one too when she becomes available. Drool.....drool.....

In the past, I've read a number of pinks don't color well in that part of California. How has her color done in other warmer areas?

So far this one has always bloomed a pepto pink . Not the darkest pink I have ,but up there. We can get very hot here in the summer and it was blooming during the hottest times last summer and didn't wilt.

Now I know I want one.

Not yet Doris, but soon.

I am not a huge fan of multiple skirted brugs, i love my singles. That said, this one is exceptional. It also has a nice calyx which is a pet peave of so many of the European doubles and triples. I have seen so many with dry, shreadded and just nasty calyx which to me is very important when judging brugmansia.
