Hi all from Wisconsin

Omro, WI(Zone 4b)

Another new member here -- "hi" to everyone.

I'm a grandma to 2 wonderful little sweeties - a 3-year-old girl and a 9-month-old boy. Love knitting, reading, etc., but my true passion is gardening. Flowers, veggies, fruits!!

We moved to our new place just this past Sept. and there's no garden to be seen. Just a few potentillas and peonies (and some VERY old, sad apple trees). So, pretty soon we'll be more than busy getting the gardens in.

I have a deep interest in heirloom varieties of flowers, fruits and veggies (especially tomatoes and beans).

I'm looking forward to both enjoying Dave's Garden community and welcoming SPRING!

Hi Cathy,
Welcome to Dave's! I love heirlooms too. Roses and tomaotes and can you call herbs heirlooms? If so, those as well.
My favorite tomatoe is Brandywine. Grew it last year and had such a wonderful, flavorful crop that I will probably have it every year!
I think I bought some more heirloom fruit seeds, will have to go look and find out. Trying to stay out of the seeds until it is time to plant, last year I started way too early. LOL

Hi Herbie, thanks! I've traveled to upstate New York a couple of times. Beautiful country!

Thanks, hope - I've never personally been to Oklahoma, but a gal I worked with a few years ago was originally from Shawnee. Can't remember how exactly she ended up in Wisconsin, but she sure missed living in Oklahoma!

Thanks for the info regarding "glitches" -- I thought my computer was acting up. Glad it's not that!!
