This Aechmea has a true ornemental value because
the berries remain unchanged during some months
and it blooms regularly.
Any opinion on the species' name is welcome.
An identification, please.
I'll take a wild guess - it looks like an old cross...
Aechmea 'Fulgo Ramosa'
fulgens v. discolor X ramosa
The truth is there are hundreds of Aechmea crosses and very many that are un-named or at least unknown.

Many of my bromeliads never flower.
Has anyone experience of ETHYLENE PILLS ?
Yes - I have finally flowered Aechmea Pink Ice with the pills after growing it on and on for many years. I use 4-8 depending on the size of the plant. I go way back to the days of Florel, Ethrel, Brom-Bloi, and of course, the old "apple-in-a-bag" technique. Anything that will generate Atcetylene or Ethylene gas will do the trick - you just have to be careful not to go too strong. Ethylene plays a very interesting part in plant flowering. Just Google plant ethylene and you'll find lots of interesting info.
