Was wondering if anyone could give me some info as to whether thompson seedless grapes would grow well in augusta, ga- very hot and humid summers.
thompson seedless grapes
I am no expert, but we are probably about the same temp/humidity in the summer and mine did okay last year. I sprayed them twice with fungicide to keep powdery mildew at bay. We had a relatively dry, hot summer and they survived from bare root plants. They did not fruit as it was the first year. Maybe this summer I will have more info on how they do. If I can't get the grapes to do well, I will switch to muscadines...
