CLOSED: Oregon Form Junco?

Putnam County, IN(Zone 5b)

This Dark-eyed Junco showed up today and it's noticeably different from my others. I was wondering if if isn't an Oregon form. Appreciate any help on this one...Thanks!

Certainly looks like an Oregon form Dark-eyed Junco with the black head and lighter body. Lets see what others think.

Agree, Oregon Form Dark-eyed Junco...the female slate colored can get the brownish color's but Ive never seen one with that dark of a head.

That's pretty much what my one looks like too. Not as well-defined as those Duc gets, but as burd just said, that dark head really stands out.

Yup...that head just jumped out at me! Wish my photos had turned out better. Have not seen it today but have been watching. Thank you all. I will leave this open for just a bit longer then will come back and close it.

nanny here's a couple of my Junco photos and they sure do come in a wide range of colors.
They are sweet little birds, I like them a lot!

The bird on the top left is a really good looking Slate-colored, I think the middle one is a gray-headed and the others are Dark-eyed, correct me if I'm wrong.
It's not a great pic you know how those birds are they don't always co-operate very well.
