A couple of days ago I was in my local (30 miles) Super Wal Mart. They have positioned their fresh cut flowers just inside one of the entry doors, so of course I had to stop and look. They had one group of flowers at half price. So I picked one I liked---$5.00 and brought home. Made these two flower arrangements and still had the greenery left over.

Thankyou both. Nothing in bloom outside other than crocus, which I love but not very good for cutting, so have to rely on store flowers.

Now late summer, so have plenty flower material in my garden. Still very hot. So not doing much outside. Just rying to irrigate. Don't have enough water to irrigate properly and so things are getting sad looking for lack of enough moisture. I am at the end of the line and have the largest garden of the four of us on the pump.
