16015 264th St. E. Orting Washington.
Located near Graham, Washington, just one hour south of Seattle on the way to Mt. Rainier, is a special 4 1/2 acre garden. The Chase Garden sits on a bluff overlooking the Puyallup River Valley and features spectacular views of Mt Rainier.
The garden is the lifework of Emmott and Ione Chase. Parts of the garden were designed by landscape architect Rex Zumwalt, and the entire garden has been developed and maintained by Emmott and Ione Chase since 1962, and today stands out as one of the finest examples of the Pacific Northwest style of the mid-20th century.

Chase Gardens Spring Awakening Garden
OOOhhh.... that's right around the corner from my house! (Well, as close as anything is to right around the corner from my house!)
Kathy, you are baaaad, baaaad, baaad! When will I ever be home long enough to plant all of my acquisitions this spring?
I know, I know - I was thinking the same thing. But sometimes a little stroll through a nicely-tended well-established garden is just the think to inspire one to get home and finish/move that [insert big daunting project here].
And, of course, there will be a few plants on sale . . .
Oh, I have a nursery abourt 1 1/2 miles from my place we can go to on your way back home in April.
Willow, the trip to your house is getting to sound expensive! Chase garden can be on our way there, and a nursery on our way home.......
Willow......baaaad, baaaad, baaaad.
Fun fun fun!
