I read somewhere that worms eat the microorganisms (germs) in the rotting compost mix. So I found the yuckiest dust I could : the contents of the vacuum cleaner bag and all the dust and hair from the dog kennel. The worms have absolutely thrived and mutiplied fast since then, now I'm on the lookout for any delicious muck for my little wrigglers!
