Swamp sparrow?

Rockport, TX(Zone 9a)

When I took this photo, I thought I was looking at some kind of wren. Now that I see it standing still in a photograph, I think it's a swamp sparrow. Do you agree?

I agree!

Probably, but I suspect not definitely identifiable with this pic alone. I'm a little dubious about the lack of orangey tones in the wing, which Swamp Sparrow should have.

My first thought was a Song Sparrow..but would need more to make a confirmation.

Sorry, it's the only pic that I got. There were two of them, but they were fast. They were on the edge of a big swampy grassland. The grasses were at least four feet tall and we were at the edge where it met a brushy, forested area.

When I was looking through my book, I fell on song sparrow first, but this one doesn't seem to have the brown streaks on the chest that song sparrow has.
