Globemaster Allium - which end up?

My first with Alliums......one end has green sprouts starting....the other end is pointy. Which end to I plant up? HELP! ^_^

No - I got the information from a google.com search. You can do a search and select 'images' to find a picture.

Thanks Kay! That is exactly what I ended up doing - a google search. ^_^ The sprouts are the roots while the flower emerges from the pointy end.

What will happen if I planted the green sprouts up instead? Thought I knew the corect way and was in a hury bacause the ground was very cold.
Thats what I get for thinking.
